For quite some time, I have struggled with being who I am. Trying to keep faces occupied and distracted from seeing the real Terence gets to be aggravating and burdensome - definitely a waste of my energy. For years I put on a mask disguising what I was afraid spectators wouldn't accept or approve of. I would ask myself, "why should I conceal my identity because of fear?" The feeling of being restrained is not a pleasant sensation. Emotions begin to swirl, build up and will soon be viciously unleashed. You may not be comfortable with yourself now, but I ask you, how long do you plan on pleasing others? Keep in mind, while you are amusing spectators and focused on others, you are not amusing to yourself. No one can hinder you except for you! Learn how to be comfortable in your skin. Learn how to LOVE your skin. Learn to be FEARLESS in your skin. We all have been created in the eyes of the great divine. Be appreciative of how you've been shaped, molded and perfected.

Carry patience as an asset, not a transgression.
Tonight's post is dedicated to a dear friend of mine.
"Trust your mind to think with time; patience is the key."

We all are guilty of being impatient at times. Our eyes get too in-tuned at the sight of others that we lose sight of your own focus and drive in life. I understand we all have needs and wants; I mean, we're human, right? But timing is EVERYTHING. If you do not have something you WANT, then you do not NEED what ever that "thing" is... at that time. Mistakenly done, we get our NEEDS confused with our WANTS. These two variables get mixed up too frequently, but with mental maturity and readiness come the skill to classify which is which and then the ability to categorize the necessities. Each person has their own paved track. Follow YOUR track! Instill trust and faith in yourself and with time, you will come out in front. There are times were I get caught up and get pushy - it's human nature. But I take the time to re-evaluate myself and get back on MY track. Think about it, the more you push, the further you push away from your fullness. Begin to build a trustworthy mind and practice the principle of having patience and start pulling in your wants as well as your needs.

The Beginning.
This is the beginning of a mind blowing, rocky, wild, yet humbling journey for you and myself. Today has brought me quite motivation to open up. This blog will paint out the REAL and RAW of my life. Day by day, I am understanding my purpose in life. Not that I know for certain what my purpose is, but I'm learning by the hour. My journey so far has molded me into an open minded, coherent, & outspoken individual. God has compacted a plethora of premium talents and gifts into five feet nine inches and I owe Him to share with you all. Here I go!
